Blue Talks – The Role of Marine Robotics in Ocean’s Monitoring

We invite you to join us in the event “The Role of Marine Robotics in Ocean Monitoring”.

It is an online event scheduled for the 24th May at 11 AM which is co-organized by project partner FER and the Embassy of Portugal in Zagreb related to the 2022 United Nations Ocean Conference. The goal is to showcase how marine robotics can be useful for the ocean monitoring and to discuss the future of technology applied to Blue Economy sectors such as ocean monitoring and protection and fisheries among others.

H.E. the Ambassador of Portugal, Ms. Paula Leal da Silva, and the FER’s Vice Dean for Research, Prof. Nikola Mišković, Ph.D will give short welcome speeches. The event will continue with the lectures given by Prof. João Borges de Sousa, Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Prof. António Pascoal, Ph.D., from the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Mateo Ivanac, project manager from the Lead Partner Croatian CCE will present strategic project InnovaMare.
